Amanda Berg is a documentary storyteller based in Durham, North Carolina.

She graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photojournalism and is currently pursuing an MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University. Her work has been recognized by the Alexia Foundation, North Carolina Press Association, Eddie Adams Workshop, Pingyao International Photography Festival, featured on TIME Online, NPR and

Amanda combines conventional and experimental approaches to documentary arts, with emphases on the intersections of still and moving images, individuals and societies. She is currently completing her MFA thesis project about women’s tackle football.

When not behind a camera you can find Amanda at the tennis courts.
